Adam Levin
American classical guitarist
Adam Levin is an award-winning touring, classical guitarist, teacher, music activist, and leader. He has received both national and international prizes in performance as well as be the recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship, Program for Cultural Cooperation Fellowship, and Kate Neal Kinley Fellowship to research contemporary Spanish repertoire in Spain. Levin commissioned over 30 solo and chamber guitar works from Spanish composers and has completed a four-volume encyclopedic album collection for Naxos and Frameworks Record Labels. Levin’s discography includes twelve commercially released recordings.
Levin is on faculty at University of Rhode Island and University of Massachusetts Boston, a founder of the guitar education non-profit organization Kithara Project, as well as the artistic director of the University of Rhode Island Guitar Festival and Rhode Island Guitar Guild.
